Irrigation solution provider Toro has launched the Flex Connect Layflat connection system, a differentiated series of accessories and tools for connecting drip irrigation tapes to flat hoses

Toro Product Manager Sky Anderson said: "Installing and reusing common tiled accessories on site can be cumbersome and time-consuming.

"But thanks to the incredibly innovative joint design, Toro's new Flex Connect joint makes installation and reuse quick and easy, and reduces labor and maintenance. In addition, the convenient installation tool can form a firm structure every time. Seal and significantly reduce leakage,” Anderson added.

The company says that Flex Connect is an excellent alternative to hoses with pre-installed accessories. The Flex Connect accessory is equipped with a detachable flat eye connection and optional sealing cap, so growers can choose any spacing-or even change the spacing later-while ensuring that the flat can be re-rolled flat for ease of movement and storage. The hose with pre-assembled fittings forces the grower into a specific space, which can be challenging for non-square or irregularly shaped fields.
