BARNSTABLE-Sometime after 8 am, firefighters were called to the WB Mason facility on Communication Way in Barnstable. The report showed that thick smoke was emitted from the ceiling of the building. The staff stretched the hose and asked the Hyannis ladder truck to react. After investigation, the superheat pump, which is part of the sprinkler system, was clearly the culprit of the smoke and was shut down. There were no reports of injuries.
