As the product of Gates’ pioneering material science and process engineering innovations, MXG 5K uses Gates’ patented Xpiral™ braided spiral technology to provide wire spiral performance in a flexible, lightweight and innovative high-pressure hydraulic hose-a breakthrough The structure surpasses all industry standards and the competitive performance of most published hoses in terms of pressure and impulse life. MXG 5K tested 1 million pulse cycles at 250 degrees Fahrenheit (121 degrees Celsius), which is twice the industry standard for traditional spiral hoses.
