ASHCROFT, B.C. — Ashcroft RCMP are asking the public to keep their eyes peeled for a piece of farm equipment that was stolen from Hat Creek Ranch in Cache Creek Thursday (Aug. 4).

Mounties say those responsible took apart a fence to gain access and steal an irrigation hose reel sometime overnight.

“Farming equipment is expensive and its loss can have a huge impact on businesses,” said Cst. Richard Wright of Ashcroft RCMP.

Anyone who knows anything about the stolen equipment is asked to contact Ashcroft RCMP at 250-453-2216.
