Professional Tool Reviews for Pros

From its first cordless fan to hybrid technology and a 4-inch clamp fan to an 18-inch drum fan, Ryobi has been keeping your life cooler for years. While the Ryobi 18V One+ Hybrid Misting Air Cannon isn’t the first misting fan from Ryobi, it takes things up a notch from what we’ve seen before.

The Ryobi PCL850B is much different from the bucket top misting fan (PMF01) that you can get at The Home Depot today. For starters, it’s much larger with a 12-inch diameter and is capable of producing up to 1400 CFM (920 CFM in low). At high speed, you can direct the misting spray up to 15 feet away.

It’s also quieter. At 52 decibels, it produces less noise and earns the Whisper Series designation as part of Ryobi’s quietest products.

Finally, it’s a hybrid tool. Whether you want the convenience of a battery or the unlimited runtime of a cord, it’s your choice. When you use an 18V One+ battery, a 4.0Ah pack runs the fan for 2.5 hours on high or 6.5 hours on low.

Look for the latest Ryobi misting fan at The Home Depot beginning in April 2022. The bare tool is $149 and we expect some kits to show up as well. As usual, Ryobi warranties the product for 3 years.
