Heavy news: Chocobo GP will be released on Nintendo Switch on March 10, 2022!

The new racing game is based on the iconic locations of the Chocobo and Final Fantasy series, allowing the loyal feather buddy and his buddies to fight each other on a vibrant circuit.

You may want to learn more about the game, so we think we will double-check some of the things you must expect.

Chocobo GP has a large number of characters from the Chocobo game, as well as some familiar faces from the Final Fantasy series. Everyone has their own unique abilities—if used effectively—that can give them an advantage over the competition.

Let us know some actors:

Of course, Chocobo is in the game! This treasure hunter travels the world with Atra the Mogul. A pure and sweet soul, he worked for Atla, who used him to participate in the game.

His unique ability is Chocobo sprint! After activation, Chocobo will summon a ring behind him and move forward automatically for a period of time. The characters who also pass the ring will also be promoted!

Another treasure hunter, Atra, travels with his companion Chocobo. Quite against the trend, Atra considers himself the boss and Chocobo is his subordinate. He is voiced by Laura Post.

His unique ability is Pom-Pom Crystal, which allows the cunning Moogle to steal magic stone crystals from the character in front of him (see below for more details). Not only that, but some fake crystals were scattered behind him. If an unfortunate racer encounters one of these fakes, they will all explode!

Camilla is a kind young chocobo, she has a little green thumb (well, let's assume it's wings)-she likes to grow plants. She is voiced by Lizzie Freeman in the game.

Her love of gardening is evident in her unique chocobo mix. Camilla created 5 wreaths around the stadium, which will give her motivation and invincibility when she crosses them. The effect will be extended every time you go through the ring, so it's worth going as much as possible! Other racers can also get promotion through one of the rings.

Camilla's father is a good chocobo. He always does his best-even if sometimes he finds his efforts to no avail. He was voiced by Sean Chiplock.

Dad unfolded his plow from the side of his vehicle and pushed forward automatically in an invincible state. Any character that comes into contact with him will be wiped out, so be careful when you play against him! Another thing to be careful-as the ride moves, sprinklers will appear behind and form puddles. Anyone who comes into contact with these will be in trouble.

Claire seemed quiet and easygoing, but obviously he had an important mission. He is voiced by Stephen Ford.

Beware of Claire's unique ability, Invisihood, which makes him transparent and invisible to nearby racers. When he is in this state, he cannot be the target of many skills or magical attacks.

This mysterious Moogle often appeared in front of Chocobo and his friends. He is used to sneer at other racers and usually takes care of the participants of the race. He is voiced by Cristina Vee Valenzuela.

Having said that, you definitely want to avoid hindering his unique ability, Mog Beam X. Speedster fires a huge beam of energy and travels along the track, destroying any characters on its path. The beam is also defensive-it can be deployed as a shield behind, blocking any magical attacks and destroying any characters that touch it.

Cid, who calls himself a "genius scientist", works as a mechanic on a test track where many racing enthusiasts gather. He is voiced by Keith Silverstein.

Cid's three-shot ability bombarded other racers with his tank artillery. You can even change the target he will attack by keeping the direction while activating the ability.

The sweet and serious Shirma serves as an assistant on the Cid test track. She has a strong sense of justice-if she sees an argument or someone being bullied, she will not stand by. She is played by Erica Mendes.

Her ability Kurukuru Counter is very suitable for countering aggressive racers. Shirma unleashes Kurukuru's power, and Kurukuru encloses the area around her in a barrier for a period of time. If any competitor uses magic stones on her during this period, Kurukuru will appear and fight back against them.

Irma comes from a family of legendary treasure hunters and is a frequent visitor to the Cid test track, although she seems to have some problems. She is voiced by Christie Kate.

Irma uses her unique ability Boost Chain to push herself and her vehicle to the limit. After activation, pressing the button will give her a temporary boost. When using this ability, she can still drift, use magic stones and perform aerial skills.

This flaming figure works part-time as a firefighter near Cid's test track. He is voiced by Samuel Rigel.

His ability hellfire really heats things up on the track-literally. When activated, Ifrit will release a flame from the hose of the vehicle, forming a fiery barrier across the track. Hellfire will move along the track and cause any racers it touches to be wiped out.

The multi-limbed Gilgamesh tried to hinder Chocobos and friends by challenging them to compete. Despite his appearance, he may be timid and sometimes frightened when his opponent is strong.

Gilgamesh can summon a unique ability called the Juggernaut. When using it, he throws a few pieces from his precious sword collection to the front or back. The racer who hits one of the swords stuck on the ground will be injured, depending on the type of sword, from simple rotation to complete elimination.

You have encountered some cars, but you may still want to know what races they are participating in. There are three types of vehicles in Chocobo GP:

Each model has different characteristics, such as high speed, faster acceleration and improved handling-so choose the model that best suits your game strategy!

Scattered around the various tracks are magic eggs. Touching one of them will give you a magic stone. These powerful crystals can be used to invoke various magical effects that can help you or hinder your opponents.

Each type of magic stone is divided into three levels-if you collect multiple pieces of the same type, you will be able to unleash more powerful spells!

Here are some magic stones you can use in fierce competitions:

This magic stone shoots a fireball forward, causing damage to other racers.

This will leave behind your ride water obstacles that other racers must avoid. Threat them with dampness!

The wind allows you to create a tornado that winds around the track.

With Thunder magicite, you can launch lightning balls, shock targets and any racers nearby.

Blizzard launches an icicle that moves along the track and freezes any cars it hits. The higher the level, the longer the target will be frozen.

Doom will summon a god of death to pester and harass the racer who is one position ahead of you. If you rank first, then death will appear second.

Your character is enveloped by the power of the Philosopher's Stone, and automatically blocks an attack from the Philosopher's Stone.

As the name suggests, this will increase your vehicle speed above normal. It can also provide you with a boost within a certain period of time.

This is both fun and useful to the same extent. Swap creates two twisted doors that change the position of the character. Passing the first one will make you stand out from the second.

From story mode to 64-player online competitions, there are many different ways to play Chocobo GP. Here are the details of what you might be stuck in:

Chocobo and his friends took part in a racing race with the promise of ultimate prizes-the winner of this race will be granted a wish: anything they want in their hearts!

In order to win this unique reward, they will visit many places, meet many people along the way, and gain valuable racing experience at the same time. But what is waiting for Chocobo's close friends at the end of the journey...?

This is for speed madmen! Race three laps on the track of your choice and try to beat your best time. You can also upload ghost data from past runs to compete with other players' data!

This is a battle for pole position in a series of four games! Enter the top three to get trophies and unlock a new series to participate. Two players can each bring a Joy-Con to play together!

This mode allows you to create your own game by customizing various parameters. You can change the race level, the number of magic stones available, CPU skill level and more! Of course, you and your friends can each use a Joy-Con to compete locally.

It's time for a big event-Chocobo GP! Up to 64 players compete online to become the ultimate racer. With fourth place or higher, you will be eligible for the next round-are you capable of winning the final?

You can play Chocobo GP locally and online. When playing online, you can participate in public competitions or just invite your friends to join the competition.

Up to 8 people can also compete with local multiplayer games on multiple Switch consoles.

Chocobo GP will be released on March 10, 2022 for Nintendo Switch!

If you want to have a taste before buying, Chocobo GP Lite will also be released. The deluxe demo version of the game allows you to try the online Chocobo GP mode, local multiplayer games and play through the prologue chapters of the story mode.

If you like the game you play, you can upgrade to the full game-all your progress from the Lite version will continue!

The number of characters available in the Lite version is different from the full version of the game.

Online competitions are only available in Chocobo GP mode.

For local multiplayer games with multiple Switch consoles, one player must own the entire game.

When using a local multiplayer connection, only the owner of the full version can create a lobby. Lite version players must join an existing lobby to play
